Couple Psychoanalytic Psychotherapy Reading/Clinical Group

Instructor: Vivian Eskin, Ph.D.

Please join us for a series of three reading/clinical seminars.

Read, discuss and explore theoretical articles relevant to understanding the nuts and bolts of psychoanalytic couple psychotherapy in the Tavistock Model. We will read and discuss concepts such as couple fit, couple state of mind, unconscious phantasy, projective identification and their use in couple psychotherapy. Thinking about theoretical foundation, transference and countertransference offers the participant a framework, guide, and like-minded space to present clinical work. This series is open to participants across all levels of experience, and offers a learning opportunity for all.

Dates:       April 12th; May 10th; June 7th, 2019

Time:        3:00-4:30 pm

Location:  165 West 91st Street # 5E, NYC, 10024

Fee:           $225.00
